Hearts of Oak coach C.K Akunnor insists he is not affected by the uncertainty surrounding the future of the club Chief Executive Fred Crentsil.

The Ghana FA Executive Committee member’s two-year mandate as CEO of the Accra-based club is set to end in August and so far there is no word as to whether he will be made to continue or not.

And with the club ready to do serious business in the transfer market, there are fears the uncertainty surrounding the CEO’s status could hurt the club in the pre-season dealings which could affect the playing body but Akunnor says there is no such problem.

“There is no problem at all, again, this is not a situation for the coach to deal with,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“I am still working with him and everything is fine, it has not affected me adversely at all.

“It is between the CEO and the Board to handle so there is no problem.”

Crentsil has come under massive pressure to prematurely vacate his post after Hearts ended up empty handed in the just ended season.

They were a staggering 16 points behind eventual winners Asante Kotoko in the Ghanaian top flight where they finished third.
