Al Ain coach Zlatko Dalic hopes to have injured striker Asamoah Gyan fully-fit for next Monday’s Arabian Gulf League match against Al Ahli.

Gyan suffered a knee injury last Friday against Al Dhafra when he was stretchered off the pitch late on in their 3-0 win.

The Ghana captain will miss Wednesday’s league match against Emirates but his coach hopes to get him ready for the visit to Al Ahli.

"The medical team is working intensively on Gyan and I hope he will be fit before our next game against Al Ahli," the Croat trainer said.
