Kuwaiti Premier League side Al-Qadsia FC have nominated Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila in a three-man shortlist for their 2019/20 Player of the Season.
Sumaila will battle it out with Ahmed Al-Daferi and Bader Al-Motawaa.
The centre back has been a rock in the heart of defence for Al Qadsia with consistent displays.
Sumaila, 27, is gunning for his third Al-Qadsia player of the Season gong.
The former Kotoko and Ebusua Dwarfs player joined the The Yellow Castles in 2014 after an impressive campaign with Mamelodi Sundowns.
His contract with Al-Qadsia expires at the end of the 2020/21 season.
Sumaila is looks decorated having won three major trophies and twice best player in the top-flight.
