Ghanaian winger Bernard Ayitey Mensah could face a spell on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury for Aldershot Town in their goalless draw with Halifax Town in the English Conference League last Saturday.

Mensah has been in blistering form for the Shots since joining on loan from Bristol Rovers in the winter transfer window, scoring two goals in 4 matches.

The 24-year old has been heavily relied upon by manager Gary Waddock and was tipped to carry his form into the side's game against Halifax Town.

However, the Ghanaian wrecked his side's ambition of picking their first win in 14 games after he limped off the pitch after 30 minutes due to a knee injury.

His absence in the match was greatly felt as they managed to hold off the hosts to a goalless drawn game.

Aldershot are sitting in the drop zone with 29 points after 33 matches.
