US Sassuolo midfielder Alfred Duncan has fired a warning shot at Frosinone Calcio ahead of their Sunday's Italian Serie A clash following their home draw with AC Fiorentina last weekend.

The Neroverdi were on the verge of ending their four-game winless run in the league after Alfred Duncan and Khouma Babacar had given them the lead midway through the second half.

But Giovanni Simeone halved the deficit for the Viola before Stefano Sensi restored Roberto De Zerbi's charges two-goal cushioning, only for them to crumble after Marco Benassi and Kevin Mirallas pulled level in final seven minutes of the match.

However, Duncan says they will not repeat the mistakes as they did at the Mapei Stadium when they travel to the Stadio Benito Stirpe on Sunday though he believes the hosts will get auxiliary hand from their teeming fans.

"Against Fiorentina we were naive; we could manage better the last ten minutes of the race. There is some regret, because we have thrown away two points: we have to be angry in a positive way to play better against Frosinone."

"They will try to give their best in front of their fans, we will have to keep a bang and play our game, regardless of the environment we will find. The coach says every week that we are not yet at our best: we have to mature as soon as possible, because we are throwing away lots of games and we do not want to regret at the end of the year."
