Algerian club ES Setif have unveiled former WAFA forward Daniel Lomotey.
The former Ghana youth international signed a three-year contract with the Black Eagles in deal worth around US$100,000.
Lomotey was presented to the media and fans after successfully undergoing all necessary checks including his medicals.
The 22-year-old was initially scheduled to sign for Tunisian top-flight side AS Soliman but a transfer fee and personal terms couldn't be agreed.
Setif took advantage of the situation to struck a deal with WAFA and the player.
The former Ghana U20 striker was leading the Ghana Premier League top scoring chart before travelling to the Northern Africa.
He bagged 8 goals in 9 matches for WAFA this campaign with his last coming against Asante Kotoko.
Setif take on Asante Kotoko in the CAF Confederation Cup play-off round next month with a first leg on 14 February 2021 and the second leg on 21 February 2021.
