Algerian top flight side Entete Setif  have reached a mutual agreement to terminate the contracts of Ghanaian duo Samad Oppong and Alex Asamoah, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

Each player was paid 12,000 Euros as compensation although they have a contract which runs till July 2014.

The two strikers failed to impress the Black Eagles since joining them on three-year deals each in August.

The former Asante Kotoko players are to lead the clear-out for ES Setif in the next transfer window.

Club president Hassan Hamar said: "We will part with five players during the transfer window."

The club want to replace them will three players- a Malian, a Burkinabe and a Beninois.

Asamoah has been linked with a return to AshantiGold.
