Algerian side JSM Bejaia plan a massive upset against Kotoko
Kotoko will face the Algerians on Sunday

Algerian club, JSM Bejaia are threatening to shock Asante Kotoko when both clash in their CAF Champions League duel at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The second-leg tie promises to be uncompromising following a scoreless result in the first leg in Algeria last month.

Confident Bejaia trainer, Giovanni Solinas, insists 'no team is favourite in this encounter. We plan to approach the match in a similar fashion as we did in the first leg.'

He told GNA Sports "Kotoko were lucky to have snatched a point in the first leg because my players were simply wasteful upfront.

"We could have sealed their (Kotoko) doom had my boys taken their chances. We would stick to plan and refuse to lose focus at any point in the match'.

Giovanni recounted how some Algerian clubs in the past proved difficult for Kotoko, insisting his side was preoccupied with scoring in their quest to book a slot at the next stage of the competition.

The club is billed to have a session at the Baba Yaa Sports Stadium on Saturday ahead of the game.
