King Faisal Chief Executive Alhaji Karim Gruzah has objected a proposed 10,000 Ghana cedis ex-gratia to out-going members Executive Committee members of the Ghana Football Association.
Gruzah, whose club were demoted last season, argues that the Ex Co members have done nothing to deserve such a reward and pursue their selfish interests during their tenure of office.
"If the GFA has this kind of money to give to the members of the Executive Committee, the Juvenile Football is dying and third division clubs are self financing themselves and especially the Premier League clubs are in debt because of the delay in the Glo sponsorship money. So they should assist the Premier League clubs and the first division," Gruzah told GHANAsoccernet.com
The motion for the ex-gratia was moved by Acting Aduana CEO Kofi Manu and seconded by Olloboi Commodore, a representative for second-tier side Sporting Mirren.
Manu justified his stands by saying: "Even our parliamentarians who earn salaries are still paid ex-gratia upon leaving the House. What about members of the Executive Committee who only earn allowances? They deserve some compensation."
The Committee comprises of 21 members which includes four representatives of the Premier League.
