Premier League side All Stars have confirmed head coach Maxwell Konadu will join Asante Kotoko next season and claim his departure will not affect the team.

The Ex-Kotoko player will reunite with his former club after agreeing to join them in an assistant capacity to Serbian Bogdan Korak.

Both Kotoko and the former national star have sorted out personal details with Konadu expected to put pen to paper on a two-year deal.

"He did a great job with the team since he joined us but I should say that we’ve done well in the past without him and so there is no cause for alarm," All Stars CEO Oduro Nyarko said.

"He didn't qualify the team to the elite division and before he became head coach, the team was flying already despite the fact he also contributed his quota to the development of the team. We wish him well but we'll survive without him."
