Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is confident that his team can move forward and improve following their draw against Sevilla on Wednesday.
A goalless draw was how the Bianconeri’s opening Champions League tie of the season ended against the Spaniards, who qualified for the tournament after winning last season’s Europa League.
“We are not disappointed at all, we know that we have all the potential to move forward,” Allegri told Premium Sport.
However, the Italian tactician did admit there are lots of areas that need improving in his squad.
“We must improve our level of play and our dribbling quality, but all places need work,” he said.
“It was a difficult game due to the pressure put on us by Sevilla.”
Despite this, he was pleased with the way his players turned the game around in the second half.
“We had a different match in the second half compared to the first, we took control of the game and only lacked a goal,” he said.
