Alli mocked by top-flight stars including Aguero over his quarantine moustache

Dele Alli has been mocked by fellow top-flight footballers for his new moustache after uploading a picture to Instagram.

The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder shared a picture of his ‘Quarantine trim’ on social media late on Sunday night.

Fellow players were quick to comment on the 24-year-old’s new look, with many drawing similarities to the Mexican drug lord El Chapo.

Among those mocking the England international’s facial hair was Tanguy Ndombele, Sergio Aguero, James Maddison and Ben Chilwell.

While London-based barber Justin Carr, who jetted out to Russia to keep the England team’s locks in check throughout the World Cup, joined in on the action.

Carr, Ndombele and Aguero were quick to associate him to Joaquin Guzman, the most powerful drug trafficker in the world.

While Maddison and Chilwell rattled off some light-hearted puns such as ‘oh my tash’ and ‘I moustache you about the moustache.’

Whereas Cardiff City winger Nathaniel Mendez-Laing took as slightly different approach, praising Alli saying his tash is ‘flames’.

The comical exchange between the Premier League star not only gained the attention of fans but also humoured Alli himself.

The 24-year-old took to his Instagram story to screenshot the comments with an accompanying caption reading: 'THESE COMMENTS,' followed by a series of laughing faces.
