Former AC Milan captain Massimo Ambrosini has hailed the impact of Olivier Giroud.
Ambrosini admits the veteran striker has surprised him.
He told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "Anyone who talks to the Milan managers knows that they think he is a champion for attitude.
"You see him in the difficult moments of the match. Every game, he never breaks down and always fights for himself and for his teammates. My feeling is that he always manages to put his ego aside for the good of the team. This is the key.
"As soon as he arrived, he had to manage coexistence with Ibra, taking the stage when he had the opportunity."
