Amidaus-Professionals beat Inter Allies 2-0

Amidaus Professionals posted a 2-0 win over Inter Allies in the Tema derby of the First Capital Plus Premier League on Friday afternoon.

Former Ghana Premier League goal king Nana Poku opened the scoring before Isaac Ofori doubled the lead.

Amidaus have now moved to the 10th on the league table but have played one match more than Liberty, Faisal and Aduana Stars who could overtake them if they win their respective matches this weekend.

Inter Allies remain rooted at the bottom after suffering their 12th defeat of the season.

The newboys have a paltry 12 points from the 16 matches played so far.

They have an outstanding match against Medeama which is scheduled to be played on 24 February.
