Ghanaian forward Kwame Amponsah-Karikari hit a brace for AIK Stockholm in their 3-1 win over Assyrian FF in a pre-season friendly on Saturday at the Skytteholm.

The former Ghana U20 striker gave Stockholm the lead in the 33rd minute after team-mate Viktor Lundberg had cancelled out Nahir Besara's 7th minute opener.

Amponsah confirmed victory for Andreas Alm's side on 68 minutes with an Atakora Lalawele assist.

He riffled a powerful volley to the top right corner from inside the box six minutes after the break before connecting home an Atakora Lalawele cross on 68 minutes.

"I'm happy with this goal and I hope to translate my form into next week's Super Cup tie. Thank God I'm fully fit now," Amponsah-Karikari told GHANAsoccernet.com

Amponsah is expected to play a crucial role in next week's Swedish Super Cup against champions Helsingborg IF.
