Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht are set to make a permanent move for Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Derrick Luckassen.

Anderlecht have started negotiations with Luckassen's parent club PSV Eindhoven, after initially backing out on a deal to make his loan move permanent because of the 5 million Euros asking price of the Dutch club.

However, it is understood Anderlecht want to make an initial payment of 2 million Euros to keep the defender, but PSV want 3 million Euros for the player.

PSV Eindhoven are yet to agree on the terms given by Anderlecht.

The 24-year old has stated in the past that he is not interested in returning to PSV, leaving the club with no option than to sell.

Luckassen's loan spell with Anderleht ends on June 30, but a decision over his future is expected to be sorted out as soon as possible.

The towering defender made 18 Jupiler Pro league appearances for the Purple and Whites before the season was cancelled due to coronavirus.
