RSC Anderlecht youth coach Bob Browaeys has likened fast-rising Ghanaian youngster Jeremy Doku to Eden Hazard.

Doku, 17, made a promising debut for Anderlecht in their 1-0 defeat at home against KRC Genk last weekend.

Expectations were high, because in recent months Doku has been hailed as the best talent to have emerged from the Purple and Blue lads academy.

Rightly so, because Bob Browaeys, who coached many national youth teams, compares Doku with Eden Hazard.

Browaeys' sentiments were echoed by his fellow youth team coach, Jean Kindermans, "When Hazard was 16 years old, he was fast, explosive and dribbling, and he still lacked the end product."

"Only in recent years this has changed with Hazard, so let us remember when Doku makes a wrong choice in the coming months or years after a good dribble."

Kindermans added, "We were in a decision-making vacuum last season as a result of the management change, but we had to resuscitate the Doku file ten times. With success, the fact that he can show himself now makes me proud."
