Ghana winger Andre Ayew has officially congratulated French tennis star Marion Bartoli for her first Grand Slam title victory at Wimbledon final.
Bartoli produced a dominant display winning 6-1 6-4 over German 23rd seed Sabine Lisicki on Saturday.
Bartoli won the first set in 30 minutes as Lisicki failed to cope with the occasion of a first Grand Slam final.
Andre is among big sporting dignitories in France who have been sending congratulatory messages to the Bartoli for her success as he took to twitter to salute her.
"@bartoli_marion enjoy your victory!!!!felicitation!!!!," the 23-year-old tweeted.
Andre's Marseille team-mates including Brice Samba and Andre Pierre-Gignac all sent congratulatory messages to Bartoli.
