Andre Ayew has been given a two-day extension to report to the Ghana camp in the UAE, GHANAsoccernet.com has gathered.

The 23-year-old is nursing a hamstring injury he sustained last week while in training with Olympique Marseille.

Ayew was initially expected to join the rest of his Black Stars teammates in Abu Dhabi by the Saturday deadline.

He has however been granted some extra days off by the Ghana FA to continue with his initial treatment with his doctors in France.

The son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele is now expected to arrive in the Black Stars camp on Monday to complete the line up of players invited for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
