Swansea City forward Andre Ayew hailed his side's positive attitude after they earned a goalless draw at Huddersfield despite playing the bulk of the game a man down.

The Swans had to play with 10 men for 79 minutes after Jordan Ayew saw a harsh red for a challenge with Terriers skipper Jonathan Hogg.

But Ayew, who was making his second successive start, and his teammates dug in defensively and came away from the John Smith’s Stadium with a goalless draw that could prove crucial in their battle for Premier League survival.

''Real dedication shown by the whole squad today.. good point ☝️... difficult to accept the red card but it's part of the game. Thank u to all the fans ur support was massive'' Ayew posted on Instagram.
