Marseille midfielder Andre Ayew has been linked with a transfer deadline day move to big spenders Paris Saint-Germain.

It is suspected this has delayed his arrival in Ghana's camp for Saturday's 2013 Nations Cup final round first leg qualifier against Malawi.

If a deal is sealed, it will come as a big shock to the Marseille faithful after claiming he never wanted to leave the Stade Velodrome.

PSG, owned by the Qatar Investment Authority, have already signed Thiago Motta, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Gregory van der Wiel and Ezequiel Levezzi.

Andre's younger brother Jordan is set to join Ligiue 1 side Nice on a season-long loan deal.

His contract with Marseille runs until 2015.
