Andre Ayew missed Fenerbahce's 2-1 defeat at Joseph Attamah's Istanbul Besaksehir on Saturday due to card related suspension.

The Ghana international had to serve a one-match ban after tallying four yellow cards in the Super Ligue.

His absence was felt as the away team got beaten on the road to compound their misery.

Fenerbahce coach Ersun Yanal had to introduce Nigeria winger Victor Moses to replace the on-loan 29-year-old from Swansea City.

They are now in 14th position on the 18-team table but two points above the relegation zone.

Ayew is the club's top scorer with five goals in 22 league appearances.
