Ghana winger Andre Ayew watched from the sidelines as his Olympqiue Marseille side defeated Moroccan side Kawkab Marrakech 2-1 in a friendly game on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old who was excluded from Ghana's 2013 AFCON squad over fitness concerns joined Marseille's training camp Marrakech on Monday.

However Andre underwent special training with the Marseille physical instructor and boss Elie Baup decided leave him out of the friendly.

Attacker Jordan Ayew played full throttle while French-born Ghanaian young striker Kevin Osei also lasted the first 45 minutes for Les Olympians.
