Swansea City chairman Trevor Birch has ruled out the departure of talisman Andre Ayew during this January transfer window.
The Ghana star has been in top shape for the Championship outfit and has been linked with a lot of top-flight sides in Europe.
Ayew took a decision to remain with the second-tier side during the summer window and that has yielded dividends.
''I think it’s highly unlikely that he’s going to go in this transfer window,'' said Birch when asked at the fans’ forum.
The 30-year-old has banged in 10 goals in 26 league appearances.
