Andre Ayew suspended in French Ligue 1

Ghana winger Andre Ayew is suspended for Olympique Marseille's next game in the French Ligue 1 after picking a third caution in less than ten matches on Friday night.

The 21-year-old, who scored the opener for Didier Deschamps' side 2-1 win at Caen, went into the referee's book for a bad challenge on Livio Nabab on the hour mark.

The BBC African Footballer of the Year Award nominee will sit out of his side's crucial game against Bordeaux at the Stade Velodrome on 12 December.

Didier Deschamps will have to find a replacement for his influential winger until he returns on 17 December against Lorient.
