Ghana winger Andre Ayew believes Olympique Marseille have the credentials to wrest the Ligue 1 title with big-spending Paris Saint Germain.

PSG have taken a commanding lead at the top of the with Marseille lacking in eighth place with just 18 points from 13 games.

Andre, who is regarded as the most important player at the Stade Velodrome, believes Marseille can repeat last two season's trend.

"When OM won the league two seasons ago, Bordeaux were leading with 8 points but we fought back to win the title," he said.

"Today, it is the same situation. We will win all our matches and claim the top spot."
