Kwesi Appiah to meet with Black Stars vice captain Andre Ayew

Ghana vice captain Andre Ayew is likely to meet up with injured Black Stars forward Kwesi Appiah when Swansea City clash with Crystal Palace in the English Premier League on Monday.

Andre has travelled to the Selhurst Park in London with the Welsh side  to take on Palace in a mouth-watering clash.

The 26-year-old Ayew has been leading Swansea City's revival charge and played an instrumental role in their 1-0 win over West Brom on Boxing day.

While Andre will be focusing his attention on helping Swansea secure a win on the pitch, Appiah will be watching the game from the stands due to his injury.

Appiah, 25, suffered an injury just before the start of the season while training with Ghana ahead of a 2017 AFCON qualifier in Accra.

He is expected to return to training for Palace in the New Year.
