Olymique Marseille Sporting Director Jose Anigo insists Andre Ayew won’t be sold despite growing speculation over his future.

The 22-year-old is a target of a number of top European clubs with English giants Arsenal keen to land his services.

It’s has been widely reported in the French media that Marseille could be tempted to sell the Ghanaian super star and host of other players to balance their books due to their present financial situation.

Coach Didier Deschamps also wants to bring in new additions but the lack of finances is stalling such moves and could therefore be compelled to sell the Black Stars player to ease the financial burden.

But the club’s Sporting Director has re-assured fans of the club, the winger will stay at the club next season.

“Do not sink into total pessimism. Supporters of OM should not expect an exodus because it will not happen,” Anigo told Le Parisien

“Departures will be checked, the team will be in continuity. Ayew, Remy, Mandanda, Valbuena and Nkolou will remain at the club.

“On the transfer front, we are working discreetly on our targets,”

Ayew is currently recovering speedily from a shoulder operation.
