Andy Yiadom named in Reading squad for 2020/21 season

Ghanaian defender Andy Yiadom has been named in Reading's squad ahead pf the 2020/21 football season.

Yiadom, 28, has picked up a long-term knee injury which ended his 2019-2020 campaign.

The right-back did not feature in any of the games played for his side since football restart amid the pandemic.

Yiadom had been a key man for manager Mark Bowen prior to suffering the unfortunate setback.

He scored a goal in 24 matches for the Royals in the just-ended campaign.

"Been a frustrating time having to watch the boys from this spot over the past five weeks.Will be working hard over the break to make sure I'm ready for the season ahead. Thanks for the support as always", Andy Yiadom indicated in a post as he hopes to ready ahead of next season.

The new Championship season is scheduled to start on September 12.
