Referee Alphonso Atiapa and his assistants John Nyavor and Isaac Asante were held hostage by disgruntled fans of Eleven Wonders following their 3-0 home defeat.
According to a report by Accra-based Happy FM, the match officials were under siege for 30 minutes in Techiman.
They were unhappy with the decisions and feel the center referee handed them a raw deal, including taking a decision against them
The police provided massive protection for them to be walked out of the stadium into their vehicle.
