Techiman City president Charles Kwabena Ntim has vowed to drag the Ghana FA to CAS following the side's demotion to the country's third-tier over match fixing allegation.

City and Wa African United have been relegated after the Ethics Committee of the FA found them guilty for bribery and match-fixing.

The ground-breaking ruling has sparked a wave of controversy in the West African nation, with less than three weeks before the start of the new season.

An club president Charles Ntim, nicknamed 'Mickey Charles', has vowed to drag the FA to court to seek redress.

“It is the decision of the Ethics Committee but if what they are saying is true then it means we only have to appeal against the decision,” he said

“There is nothing we can do, we only have to appeal against the decision.

“The Ethics Committee is not the highest judicial body of the Ghana Football Association.

“We have the Appeals Committee, the review committee and we can also go to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).”
