Another Ghana versus South Africa clash looms as Hasaacas Ladies face Mamelodi Sundowns in Women's final

Ghana will renew her rivalry with South Africa on Friday, November 19, 2021 when Hasaacas Ladies face Mamelodi Sundowns in the finals of the CAF Women's Champions League. 

The Ghanaian giants will play the South African side at the June 30 Stadium in Egypt on Friday with the virgin trophy at stake.

Hasaacas Ladies reached the finals after beating Moroccan side AS FAR in the semi final of the competition, having finished top of Group A with victories over Malabo Kings and AS Mande before a draw against Wadi Degla of Egypt.

Meanwhile, Sundowns have been impregnable at the tournament as they are yet to concede in only play after four matches.

They defeated Malabo Kings on penalties to set up the tie with the Hasmal Ladies.

Ghana and South Africa have been at each others throat in the past few days following the aftermath of the Bafana Bafana's 1-0 defeat in the World Cup qualifiers.

The game between Hasaacas Ladies and Mamelodi Sundown is expected to be keenly contested for with the South African side aiming for a revenge.
