Ansu Fati: I'm not one to give advice, I still need to be given a lot

Ansu Fati has become a permanent fixture in Barcelona's first team, despite being just 18 years old, and he accepts that he remains reliant on other people for advice.

The forward noted two simple things when asked if he had any tips for younger players.

"I am not one to give advice, I still need to be given a lot," Ansu Fati told Barcelona's official club media.

"But if there is one thing I can say, have fun playing football and enjoy it."

Ansu Fati came through La Masia and he recognises that he learnt a lot there.

"For me and my family, La Masia has been very important," he noted.

"Both my brother and I have grown as footballers and as people, with the help of the teachers, residence staff and all the academy coaches."

When asked about his memories in La Masia, Ansu Fati only had fond memories.

"I have a lot, and very good ones," he explained.

"Above all those shared with my teammates in the residence, the routine of going to school with the bus in the mornings, arriving at midday to eat all together and prepare for the afternoon training, when it was time to do what we like best: play football."
