Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan could be joining Turkish giants Besiktas or Fenerbahce this month, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.

Other top-flight sides in the Turkish Super League are also interested in his services, Ghana’s leading football website can confirm.

His German side Schalke 04 are keen to make a deal quickly otherwise he will be available on a free transfer in June when his contract expires.

The 27-year-old recovered from a lengthy layoff last month after being sidelined by a troublesome ankle injury.

Annan spent last season on loan at Osasuna but he is yet to play his first match for the Royal Blues since his return to Gelsenkirchen.

He is part of Schalke’s squad currently in Doha for mid-season training.
