Anthony Commey refuses to blame misfiring New Edubiase

New Edubiase coach Anthony Commey refused to criticize his players after their 1-1 home draw against Ashantigold on Saturday.

Edubiase needed an expertly taken free-kick from substitute Stephen Manu to grind out a point in front of their home fans.

Ashantigold will be happier of the two following a string of unimpressive performances this season.

Edubiase failed to make home advantage count as they huffed and puffed in front of goal.

But with their players likely to come in for lots of flak from their supporters coach Commey has stucked by his players even though they let him down.

“I don’t think we should dish out blame to anybody. It was a collective display from the team,” Commey said

“I am satisfied with their performance. We wanted to win and did everything possible on the pitch, but we managed to at least pick a point.

“We should leave it that way and focus on our next game.”

Edubiase will travel to Kpando to face Heart of Lion.
