Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo remains optimistic about AFC Bournemouth's bid to secure European football next season, despite a setback against Manchester United.
The Cherries currently sit 10th in the English Premier League standings after a 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
Semenyo opened the scoring in the 23rd minute but conceded a late equaliser from Rasmus Hojlund in the 96th minute. Despite this, Semenyo remained positive about Bournemouth's chances, saying, "The teams above us can lose next week and we can go above them."
He acknowledged the toughness of their schedule, particularly their upcoming match against Arsenal.
Semenyo has enjoyed a strong season with Bournemouth, recording 11 goals and six assists across 38 matches in all competitions.
His impressive performance has reportedly attracted attention from Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr.
Bournemouth's next match is against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, a tough game that will test their resolve.
Despite the challenges, Semenyo believes in his team's potential to achieve European qualification, stating, "It's not getting easier, but I have full belief in the team that we can do something."
