Arko scores on debut for Qatari club Al Arabi

Striker Ernest Papa scored in his maiden outing for his new Qatari club Â Al Arabi in their 2-0 win over Al Ahli .

The 27-year-old sealed a loan move from Egyptian club El-Geish early January to replace Brazilian Vandinho in Arabi’s frontline and made an immediate impact by scoring the second goal of the game.

The 2009 goalking of the Egyptian League started his career with Ocean Stars of Madina and later moved to Liberty Professionals.

He spent the past seven years in Egypt, playing for Zamalek and El Geish.

He has won only a single cap with Ghana's national team where he scored on his debut.
