Arsenal face competition from Barcelona for Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri.

Arsene Wenger's 21-year association with Arsenal could end this summer and Allegri has been in advanced talks with Emirates paymasters about moving to the capital, says the Daily Express.

But the Gunners plans could come underdone if Barcelona firm up their interest in Allegri who is close to their sporting director Ariedo Braida.

The pair worked together in Milan and Braida has sounded Allegri, 49, out about his plans for next season a sign that he is an option to take over at the Nou Camp.

Barca are set to sack Luis Enrique at the end of the season and have already been looking around Europe to see who is available for one of the highest profile jobs in world football.
