Despite Arsène Wenger disposing of several midfield and attacking player, and possibly still about to sign one more, Spanish international midfielder/winger Santi Cazorla's (31) position at Arsenal is more than solid. French strategist relies on former Villarreal and Malaga player indeed as one of the squad veteran leaders, and doesn't seem to be willing to let him leave in any way.
Playing for Arsenal since 2012/13, Cazorla is currently on a deal with London side until June 2017, and negotiations regarding a deal extension might be starting soon. Meanwhile, Porto tried to start talks in order to sign him, but so far they have been denied the chance to make them real.
