Arsenal in hunt for Inter creator

Arsenal look set to bid for Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic in January in an attempt to strengthen the club’s midfield.

The Gunners need to add bodies in the centre of the field to relieve some of the pressure a recent spate of injuries has caused.

TuttoMercatoWeb.com report that the London side have already made contact with the Nerazzurri regarding the Croatian, who is on loan in Milan from Dinamo Zagreb.

With Roberto Mancini not viewing the 23-year-old as a starter, it is thought that a bid from the Premier League club might be enough to prise Brozovic from Inter.

As Arsene Wenger is known to have a long standing interest in the player, Arsenal may well be the most likely destination, though no deal has yet been proposed.

Brozovic moved to Inter in the winter transfer window last season and has made 26 appearances for the Nerazzurri during his time with the club.
