ARSENAL, Koulibaly on target

Already surveyed by Chelsea, Manchester United and AS Monaco, Senegalese international centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly (24), according to UK news highlighted by Daily Star, has been targeted by Arsenal, in search for a new young defensive player, fit to pick up Laurent Koscielny's and Per Mertesacker's heritage. Playing for Napoli since 2014/15 and equipped with a second French passport, Koulibaly is currently on a deal with Italian giants until June 2019; while they would be reluctant to let him leave, the request would amount to at least 24 million euros. Besides, former Genk player have already made clear his current annual salary, amounting to 800 thousand euros, would need to be raised to at least 1.2.
