Arsenal midfielder Oxlade-Chamberlain now surprisingly on Man City radar

Published on: 09 March 2016

Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is reportedly on the radar of incoming Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.

The Times is reporting Guardiola is hopeful of making the England international one of his first signings when he takes the reigns at the Etihad Stadium this summer.

It is believed that Oxlade-Chamberlain, who is also a target for both Liverpool and West Ham United, first caught the eye of the Spaniard with his standout performance for the Gunners against Guardiola's Bayern Munich in a 2014 Champions League fixture.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has two years remaining on his current deal with the North London club, but it is understood the 22-year-old may consider a change of scenery after struggling to cement a place in Arsene Wenger's first XI this season.
