Arsenal prodigy set to make Ghana decision after latest England snub

English-born Ghanaian forward Eddie Nketiah will be making a decision about his international future in the coming days after he was snubbed once again by England manager Gareth Southgate.

Gareth Southgate named a 27-man squad for the Nations League games next month without the in-form Arsenal forward.

Nketiah, who is England's all-time U21 top scorer, netted five goals in his last seven games as Arsenal finished sixth in the just ended campaign.

However, he could not make the team for the games against Hungary, Germany and Italy.

Nketiah stated last month that his doors are opened to a Black Stars call and the Ghana Football Association have reportedly initiated the process of getting him represent Ghana at the World Cup.

Earlier today, Freddy Twum, the personal trainer of the striker revealed the Arsenal player will play for Ghana.

“At some point, Eddie Nketiah will come but I hope it will be before the World Cup", Twum told Accra-based radio station Happy FM.

"When he comes it will really help the Black Stars. Jordan Ayew is fading out and if (Nketiah) comes it will really help us."

His contract with Arsenal ends at the end of next month.
