English giants Arsenal have renewed their interest in Ghanaian defender Tariq Lamptey in the summer transfer window.

The Gunners are set to spend big to bring the Brighton right-back to London as the future of Hector Bellerin becomes uncertain at the club.

Lamptey had previously been linked with the club but injuries affected his campaign last season putting to bed reports of a possible switch.

The talented defender is one of the most sought after right backs in Europe after links with Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid in the past.

He is expected to cost the Gunners around 50 million pounds.

Tariq Lamptey was born in London to Ghanaian parents but he is yet to represent England at the senior level making him eligible to play for the Black Stars of Ghana.

He joined Brighton and Hove Albion in January 2020 from Chelsea.
