Arsenal show interest in Calhanoglu

Arsenal have asked AC Milan about the availability of Turkish international Hakan Calhanoglu.

A number of players have been linked with moves away from the Stadio San Siro like Suso, Krzysztof Piatek and Lucas Paqueta, but Calhanoglu has featured frequently since Stefano Pioli’s arrival and has performed well.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Arsenal are very interested in Calhanoglu but he has shown Pioli that he can still play a part in the Rossoneri’s future.

The club’s view that the player has a role could prevent the move from happening.

Calhanoglu arrived in Milan from Bayer Leverkusen in July 2017 for a fee around €24 million and has gone on to make 85 appearances since then.
