Arsenal to sign teenage Romanian midfielder Catalin Carjan after tryout

Ian Wright believes Petr Cech is finding it difficult to adapt from his old-school style of goalkeeping to now having to play the ball out from the back.

The FC crew discuss how important the relationship between Aubameyang and Lacazette is for Arsenal and how Unai Emery can utilise both forwards.

Arsenal will sign Romanian midfielder Catalin Carjan when he turns 16 in December as they continue to bolster their academy under new head coach Unai Emery.

Carjan has played for the first-team at Viitorul Domnesti, in the third tier of the Romanian football league, since he was 13, and had a tryout at Arsenal last season.

"It's something else," Carjan told DigiSport. "They've been watching for me to get more matches and that was it. After that, they sent me the tickets to go join them. They told me that I was a good player and that they wanted me to join the first team in two years."

Carjan will join Joel Lopez, a left-back who has left Barcelona's academy and will sign a professional contract with the club when he turns 17 in March.
