Russian side Arsenal Tula are edging closer to re-signing Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kadiri in the ongoing transfer market.

Kadiri joined Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kiev on a four-year deal from Austrian Vienna last summer.

Before joining the Kiev-based powerhouse, the versatile midfielder had a successful loan spell at Russian side Arsenal Tula during the 2018/19 season.

The highly-rated Ghanaian was expected to blossom under legendary Romanian coach Mircea Lucescu.

However, his first season at the Valeriy Lobanovsky

Stadium did not go according to the script after failing to enjoy regular playing time.

The towering enforcer managed to clock only seven times for the capital-based side.

It is understood that the 24-year-old wants to cut his stay at the club short.

He could hit his dream in the ongoing transfer window following a €2 million bid by former club Arsenal Tula.

Kadiri played 28 matches for Arsenal Tula during the 2018-2019 season scoring two goals and providing four assists before he moved to Austria Vienna.

He has three more years on his contract with Dynamo Kiev.
