Interviewed by Sport Bild, Swiss international deep-lying midfielder Granit Xhaka (27), who went through really troubled times at Arsenal, under Unai Emery's management, stated:

"The June 19 kickstart? I think we are a few steps behind Germany. Anyway, Bundesliga restart has given hope to the whole football world. Of course playing with no fans in the arena is underwhelming, but let's just settle with taking back playing, and being happy with that. As far as it concerns me, I fit well into Arteta's management from day one. He showed he trusted me, and I'm committed to keep on paying him back. My feud with Gunners supporters? We all moved past it, and I'm eager to give everything for Arsenal. Hertha talks? I actually met with Berlin club, everyone knows that. Losing Aubameyang? It would mean a real downer for us. Pierre is goal-breathing boy, a top-notch professional, and a wonderful fellow".

Playing for PL giants since 2016/17, former 'Gladbach playmaker is still on a deal with them until June 2023.
