Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has rubbished claims that he has signed Nuri Sahin from Real Madrid.
It has been suggested that the 23-year old midfielder was set to join the Gunners on a season-long loan but following today’s pre-season friendly loss to Manchester City in Beijing, Wenger poured cold water on those claims.
"We did not sign anybody today, this report is wrong,†he told Arsenal.com.
“We are not signing anybody at the moment - we are not close. In the future you never know."
