Ghanaian whiz-kid Myron Boadu to extend contract with AZ Alkmaar

French giants AS Monaco are said to be confident of signing Netherlands striker Myron Boadu, who has Ghanaian parents.

The former French champions are already in talks with AZ Alkmaar for the attacker, with the talks progressing very well, Ghanasoccernet.com understands.

Now reports claim that Monaco are confident of reaching a positive conclusion in negotiations with AZ Alkmaar for the transfer of a 20-year-old.

The Amsterdam-born enjoyed an impressive 2020/21, scoring 15 goals and making 38 appearances in all competitions.

Boadu would replace Stevan Jovetic in the squad, who did not have his contract extended after it expired last month.

He missed out on the Netherlands squad for Euro 2020, but he remains positive about representing the European country in major tournaments, after picking them ahead of Ghana.
